Privacy policy

Short version: this site runs no analytics, no advertising and no third party embeds. The only thing it puts in your browser is the cookie choice you make yourself. The app at app.gigacandle.com needs an email address, because a leaderboard without accounts is not a leaderboard.

On this site

gigacandle.com is a static site. Playing the demo calls our own API on this same domain and sends nothing about you: no account, no cookie, no identifier. The chart you get is the same chart everybody gets.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs for security and abuse prevention. Those logs contain your IP address and browser user agent. We do not use them to build a profile and we cannot connect them to a person.

On the app

When you create an account, we store:

• your email address and a password hash, handled by Supabase Auth,
• the nickname you pick, which is the name shown on the leaderboard,
• your runs, trades and settings, which is what the run log and your stats are made of,
• which scenarios you have already seen, so you do not get the same chart twice.

That data sits in a Supabase project hosted in the European Union. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. There is no advertising business here to hand it to.

Money

There is none. gigacandle is played with virtual money, there is no payment processor and no card details exist anywhere in the product.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Write to hello@gigacandle.com and we will action it. Deleting an account removes your runs, trades and leaderboard entries.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top changes and the consent banner asks again.
